It's home!

My B-engnie is finally home!

It got unloaded the country way:
The frame, it's positioned in:

Markings on the head (supposedly it's a Kölner industrial head):

Markings on the engine:

And just maybe:
Can't wait till getting it appart! But that will not happen for a few weeks, due to work and other timeconsuming stuff!

"Honey, it's home!"

After a 16 hour tour (of which a couple of them was spend on talking), I now have my "new" B-engine within my grasp!
Pictures will be posted tomorrow... :-)

I've found a Ford B-engine!

It's an engine used on a technical school as an assembly engine for car-mechanics apprentice, which means, it's been assembled and disassembled many times, which means all threads in the block should have an overlook as the first thing.
The plans at the moment is to bore out the bearing to replace them with inserts (from a MG-B or any other, which is supposed to fit aruond the crankshaft), a sharper camshaft, balanced crankshaft, exaust header, 2 Stromberg "81"s (if I find one more!)...

But the money is the issue, so time will tell, how many of the plans, I'll get to realize.
